Peran, Kontribusi Dan Tantangan Perbankan Syariah Di Indonesia : Suatu Perspektif Sejarah

Abstract

This study aims to further analyze the role, contribution and challenges faced by Islamic Banks in Indonesia from a historical perspective. In this study, a qualitative descriptive method is used, prioritizing a more specific literature review study on the object being studied, by providing a detailed description of the history of the object being studied, namely the role, contribution and challenges of Islamic banks in Indonesia. Data analysis was carried out through tabulation, classification, adjustment, verification and conclusion methods. Islamic Banking has shown its role in collecting public funds, financing MSMEs and Islamic KUR as well as in further development facing challenges in the form of minimal sharia literacy, limited products and innovation, lack of superior human resources, rapid digital transformation problems and encouraging strong regulatory support.
