Abstract

This study aims to determine the condition of liquidity and profitability ratios and how they relate to the financial performance of PT Wismilak Inti Makmur Tbk during the 2020–2024 period. Liquidity ratios are measured using the Current Ratio and Quick Ratio, while profitability ratios are measured using Return on Assets (ROA) and Return on Equity (ROE). This research uses a descriptive quantitative approach with secondary data obtained from the company’s annual financial statements. The analysis results show that profitability ratios indicate fairly good and consistent performance, reflecting the company's efficiency in managing its assets and equity. The average ROA over five years was 12.2%, and the average ROE was 17.6%, with an increasing trend each year, especially in 2023 when ROA reached 19% and ROE 27%. Meanwhile, liquidity ratios showed varied results. The average Current Ratio was only 12.2%, far below the ideal standard of 200%, indicating low short-term liquidity capacity. On the other hand, the Quick Ratio showed an improving trend with a five-year average of 91.4%, reaching 138% in 2024. Overall, profitability appears to better reflect the company’s financial performance than liquidity.
