Abstract

The low performance of manufacturing sector employees in Sukabumi Regency has resulted in the closure of five manufacturing companies in Sukabumi Regency. This study aims to analyze the factors that influence the performance of manufacturing sector employees in Sukabumi Regency, which are considered transformational leadership, psychological support, and job satisfaction. The population of this study was all manufacturing sector employees in Sukabumi Regency using a purposive sampling technique with the criteria of respondents who have worked in the manufacturing sector in Sukabumi Regency for at least three years. Of the 305 respondents who provided responses, 293 respondents met the sample criteria. Data obtained from the Google Form questionnaire were processed quantitatively using structural equation modeling with SmartPLS software. The results of the study proved that there is a direct and significant influence of transformational leadership, psychological support, and job satisfaction on employee performance. In addition, there is an influence of transformational leadership style and psychological empowerment on job satisfaction. Similarly, job satisfaction acts as a partial mediator in the influence of transformational leadership and psychological empowerment on employee performance
