Pengembangan Sistem Informasi Pelaporan Kejahatan Berbasis Web untuk Meningkatkan Aksesibilitas dan Responsivitas Kepolisian di Polres Kudus

Abstract

This study aims to develop and test an online-based criminal reporting information system at Polres Kudus to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of police services. The background of this research is based on the need for a faster, more accurate, and transparent reporting system compared to the previously used manual methods. The research method applied is Research and Development (R&D) with a Human-Centered Design (HCD) approach and testing using the System Usability Scale (SUS). The results show that the developed system achieved an average SUS score of 80.6, categorized as "Excellent," indicating that the system is feasible and meets user needs. These findings emphasize the importance of implementing a user-friendly interface design and features aligned with user needs to enhance public trust in the police institution.
