Journal Sensi: Strategic of Education in Information System adalah jurnal nasional elektronik peer-review yang diterbitkan oleh Universitas Raharja. Journal Sensi: Strategic of Education in Information System terbit pertama kali pada tahun 2015, sebagai jurnal ilmiah yang terbit secara daring untuk menyebarluaskan hasil-hasil penelitian dalam bidang soft computing kepada masyarakat serta memberikan sarana untuk bertukar informasi bagi para peneliti, praktisi dan pengguna teknologi tersebut. Pernyataan Etika Publikasi ini merupakan pernyataan kode etik bagi semua pihak yang terlibat dalam proses publikasi, yaitu pengelola, penyunting, peninjau, dan penulis. Pernyataan ini disusun dan diadaptasi dari COPE Best Practice Guidelines for Journal Editors.   Pedoman Etika untuk Publikasi Jurnal Publikasi naskah dalam jurnal ini ditujukan untuk ikut membangun jaringan pengetahuan yang kokoh dan bermartabat. Setiap naskah merupakan cerminan kompetensi penulis serta lembaga pendukungnya. Proses peninjauan (peer-review) terhadap naskah yang akan dimuat dalam jurnal ini dijalankan sesuai dengan metode ilmiah. Oleh karena itu, sangat penting bagi semua pihak yang terlibat dalam proses publikasi, yaitu penerbit, pengelola, penyunting, peninjau, dan penulis; untuk mematuhi kode etik ini.   Tanggung Jawab Penerbit Universitas Raharja, selaku penerbit Journal Sensi: Strategic of Education in Information System bertanggung jawab: 1. Mengawasi seluruh tahap penerbitan dengan sungguh-sungguh, dengan mematuhi kode etik serta  tanggung jawab lainnya. 2. Menjamin kebebasan akademik bagi para editor dan reviewer dalam menjalankan tugasnya masing-masing. Dukungan komersial seperti iklan, cetak ulang, atau pendapatan lainnya tidak mempengaruhi keputusan editorial. 3. Membantu komunikasi dengan jurnal dan / atau penerbit lain bilamana diperlukan.   Tanggung Jawab Penyunting Penyunting Journal Sensi: Strategic of Education in Information System bertanggung jawab: 1. Keputusan publikasi Memutuskan naskah yang layak dipublikasikan sesuai kebijakan dewan editorial yang mengacu pada persyaratan hukum yang berlaku mengenai pencemaran nama baik, pelanggaran hak cipta, duplikasi, fabrikasi data, falsifikasi data dan plagiarisme. Mencermati keabsahan naskah serta dampaknya terhadap peneliti dan pembaca. Menjalankan rapat dewan penyunting dan peninjau untuk membuat keputusan naskah layak publikasi bila diperlukan. 2. Obyektivitas Mengevaluasi naskah berdasarkan bobot intelektualnya, tanpa membedakan ras, jenis kelamin, orientasi seksual, kepercayaan agama, asal etnis, kewarganegaraan, atau ideologi politik sang penulis. 3. Kerahasiaan Menjaga kerahasiaan informasi tentang naskah, selain kepada penulis yang bersangkutan, peninjau, calon peninjau, penyunting dan penerbit, sesuai penugasan dalam proses penerbitan naskah. 4. Pengungkapan dan Konflik Kepentingan Mencegah penggunaan materi dalam naskah untuk kepentingan penelitian penyunting tanpa persetujuan tertulis dari penulis.   Tanggung Jawab Peninjau Peninjau Journal Sensi: Strategic of Education in Information System bertanggung jawab: 1. Kontribusi terhadap Keputusan Editorial Membantu penyunting membuat keputusan penerbitan terhadap naskah. Membantu penulis meningkatkan kualitas naskah melalui jalur penyampaian hasil tinjauan kepada penulis. 2. Tepat Waktu Memberi tahu penyunting dan mengundurkan diri dari proses peninjauan apabila merasa tidak memenuhi syarat untuk meninjau penelitian yang dilaporkan dalam sebuah naskah. Memberi tahu penyunting dan mengundurkan diri dari proses peninjauan apabila merasa tidak mungkin melaksanakan peninjauan tepat waktu. 3. Kerahasiaan Memperlakukan setiap naskah yang ditinjau sebagai dokumen rahasia. Menjaga kerahasiaan setiap naskah yang ditinjau terhadap semua pihak, kecuali dengan izin penyunting. 4. Obyektivitas Meninjau naskah secara objektif berdasarkan bobot intelektualnya, tanpa membedakan ras, jenis kelamin, orientasi seksual, kepercayaan agama, asal etnis, kewarganegaraan, atau filsafat politik sang penulis. Menyampaikan hasil peninjauan dengan jelas dengan argumen yang mendukung. Menghindari melayangkan kritik pribadi terhadap penulis. 5. Pengakuan Pustaka Mengidentifikasi karya lain yang relevan dan telah diterbitkan, dan belum dikutip oleh penulis. Memastikan bahwa setiap pengamatan, perumusan maupun argumen dalam naskah, yang ditulis berdasarkan karya yang telah diterbitkan sebelumnya, telah dikutip dengan sesuai ketentuan yang berlaku. Menyampaikan kepada penyunting, bila menemukan sendiri, kesamaan substansi atau tumpang tindih antara naskah dengan karya lain yang telah diterbitkan. 6. Pengungkapan dan Konflik Kepentingan Menjaga kerahasiaan informasi maupun gagasan yang didapatkan melalui proses peer review, serta tidak menggunakannya untuk keuntungan pribadi. Memberi tahu penyunting dan mengundurkan diri dari proses peninjauan naskah apabila memiliki konflik kepentingan, baik dari persaingan, kolaborasi, atau hubungan lain dengan penulis, perusahaan, dan lembaga manapun yang terhubung dengan naskah.   Tanggung Jawab Penulis Penulis naskah yang disampaikan ke Journal Sensi: Strategic of Education in Information System bertanggung jawab: 1. Pelaporan Hasil Penelitian Menyampaikan laporan yang akurat disertai diskusi yang objektif tentang signifikansi penelitian yang dilakukan. Menyajikan data secara akurat dalam naskah. Menyampaikan detil penelitian dan pustaka yang cukup untuk memungkinkan pihak lain mereplikasi karya dalam naskah. Mencegah penyampaian pernyataan palsu atau sengaja tidak akurat dalam naskah. 2. Akses dan Retensi Data Menyampaikan data mentah penelitian yang digunakan dalam naskah, bila diminta untuk peninjauan naskah. Menyimpan data mentah penelitian untuk durasi waktu yang wajar setelah penerbitan naskah. Menyediakan akses publik ke data penelitian (konsisten dengan Pernyataan ALPSP-STM tentang Data dan Basis Data), jika dapat dilakukan. 3. Orisinalitas dan Plagiarisme Memastikan bahwa naskah yang disampaikan adalah karya asli. 4. Pengakuan Pustaka Melakukan pengutipan sesuai ketentuan yang berlaku untuk seluruh karya dan / atau kata-kata orang lain yang mendukung naskah. Melakukan pengutipan sesuai ketentuan yang berlaku terhadap karya yang berpengaruh dalam menentukan sifat naskah. 5. Publikasi Berganda, atau Bersamaan Mencegah penerbitan naskah yang pada dasarnya menggambarkan penelitian yang sama lebih dari satu jurnal atau publikasi utama. Mencegah penyerahan naskah yang sama ke lebih dari satu jurnal secara bersamaan. 6. Pengakuan Kepenulisan Menyatakan personil yang berkontribusi signifikan terhadap konsepsi, desain, pelaksanaan, maupun interpretasi penelitian yang dilaporkan, sebagai penulis utama. Menyatakan personil yang berkontribusi signifikan, sebagai penulis pendamping. Mengakui atau menyatakan personil yang telah berpartisipasi dalam aspek substantif tertentu dari proyek penelitian sebagai kontributor. Memastikan bahwa semua penulis yang dicantumkan berhak diakui kepenulisannya dalam naskah. Memastikan bahwa semua penulis telah melihat dan menyetujui bentuk akhir naskah dan telah menyetujui pengajuannya untuk diterbitkan. 7. Resiko Bahaya dan Subjek Manusia atau Hewan Menyatakan dengan jelas dalam naskah, apabila terdapat bahan kimia, prosedur atau peralatan yang memiliki resiko bahaya dalam penggunaannya. Menyatakan dengan jelas dalam naskah, apabila harus memenuhi kode etik penelitian tekait subyek manusia dan / atau hewan. 8. Pengungkapan dan Konflik Kepentingan Mengungkapkan segala konflik kepentingan finansial maupun substantif lainnya yang dapat ditafsirkan sebagai mempengaruhi hasil atau interpretasi dari naskah yang masuk. Mengungkapkan semua sumber dukungan keuangan untuk penelitian. 9. Kesalahan Signifikan dalam Naskah Memberi tahu editor atau penerbit dan bekerja sama dengan editor untuk menarik kembali atau memperbaiki naskah, ketika menemukan kesalahan yang signifikan dalam naskah yang disampaikan.

Publication Ethic

 

Journal Sensi: Strategic of Education in Information System is a peer-reviewed electronic national journal published by the University of Raharja. Journal Sensi: Strategic of Education in Information System was first published in 2015, as a scientific journal published online to disseminate research results in the field of soft computing to the public and provide a means to exchange information for researchers, practitioners, and users of the technology.

This Statement of Publication Ethics is a statement of the code of ethics for all parties involved in the publication process, namely managers, editors, reviewers, and writers.

This Statement was prepared and adapted from the COPE Best Practice Guidelines for Journal Editors.

 

Ethical Guidelines for Journal Publication

The publication of manuscripts in this journal is intended to help build a strong and dignified knowledge network. Each manuscript is a reflection of the competence of the author and his supporting institutions. The peer-review process for manuscripts to be published in this journal is carried out according to the scientific method. Therefore, it is very important for all parties involved in the publication process, namely publishers, managers, editors, reviewers, and authors; to comply with this code of conduct.

 

Publisher Responsibilities

The University of Raharja, as the publisher of the Journal Sensi: Strategic of Education in Information Systems is responsible for:

1. Supervise all stages of publishing seriously, complying with the code of ethics and other responsibilities.

2. Ensure academic freedom for editors and reviewers in carrying out their respective duties. Commercial endorsements such as advertising, reprints, or other revenue do not influence editorial decisions.

3. Assist with communication with other journals and/or publishers when necessary.

 

Editor's Responsibilities

The editors of the Journal Sensi: Strategic of Education in Information Systems are responsible for:

1. Publication decision

Decide which manuscripts are worthy of publication by the editorial board's policy which refers to the applicable legal requirements regarding defamation, copyright infringement, duplication, data fabrication, data falsification, and plagiarism.

Observing the validity of the manuscript and its impact on researchers and readers.

Conduct editorial and review board meetings to make decisions on publication-worthy manuscripts when necessary.

2. Objectivity

Evaluate manuscripts based on their intellectual weight, without distinction of race, gender, sexual orientation, religious beliefs, ethnic origin, nationality, or political ideology of the author.

3. Confidentiality

Maintain the confidentiality of information about the manuscript, in addition to the author concerned, reviewers, prospective reviewers, editors, and publishers, according to assignments in the process of publishing the manuscript.

4. Disclosure and Conflict of Interest

Prevent the use of the material in the manuscript for the editor's research without the written consent of the author.

 

Reviewer Responsibilities

Reviewers of the Journal Sensi: Strategic of Education in Information Systems are responsible for:

1. Contribution to Editorial Decisions

Assist editors in making publishing decisions on manuscripts.

Helping authors improve the quality of manuscripts through the delivery of review results to authors.

2. on Time

Notify the editor and withdraw from the review process if they feel they are not qualified to review the research reported in a manuscript.

Notify the editor and withdraw from the review process if it is not possible to carry out a timely review.

3. Confidentiality

Treat each manuscript reviewed as a confidential document.

Maintain the confidentiality of every manuscript reviewed by all parties, except with the permission of the editor.

4. Objectivity

Review the manuscript objectively based on its intellectual weight, without distinction of race, gender, sexual orientation, religious belief, ethnic origin, nationality, or political philosophy of the author.

Present the results of the review clearly with supporting arguments.

Avoid directing personal criticism of the author.

5. Library Acknowledgment

Identify other relevant works that have been published, and have not been cited by the authors.

Ensure that every observation, formulation, or argument in the manuscript, which is written based on previously published works, has been quoted by applicable regulations.

Submit to the editor, if they find themselves, the similarity in substance or overlap between the manuscript and other published works.

6. Disclosure and Conflict of Interest

Maintain the confidentiality of information and ideas obtained through the peer review process, and do not use them for personal gain.

Notify the editor and withdraw from the manuscript review process if there is a conflict of interest, whether from the competition, collaboration, or other relationships with the authors, companies, and any institutions connected to the manuscript.

 

Author Responsibilities

The author of the manuscript submitted to the Journal Sensi: Strategic of Education in Information Systems is responsible for:

1. Reporting Research Results

Submit an accurate report accompanied by an objective discussion of the significance of the research conducted.

Presenting data accurately in the script.

Provide sufficient research and literature detail to allow others to replicate the work in the manuscript.

Prevent the submission of false or intentionally inaccurate statements in the manuscript.

2. Data Access and Retention

Submit raw research data used in the manuscript, when requested for manuscript review.

Retain research raw data for a reasonable duration of time after the publication of the manuscript.

Provide public access to research data (consistent with the ALPSP-STM Statement on Data and Databases), where applicable.

3. Originality and Plagiarism

Ensure that the submitted manuscript is an original work.

4. Library Acknowledgment

Quoting according to the provisions that apply to all works and/or words of others that support the manuscript.

Quoting by applicable regulations for works that influence determining the nature of the manuscript.

5. Multiple, or Concurrent Publications

Prevent the publishing of manuscripts that essentially describe the same research in more than one major journal or publication.

Prevent submission of the same manuscript to more than one journal at the same time.

6. Acknowledgment of Authorization

State personnel who contributed significantly to the conception, design, implementation, or interpretation of the reported research, as the lead author.

Declare personnel who contributed significantly, as co-authors.

Recognize or certify personnel who have participated in certain substantive aspects of the research project as contributors.

Ensure that all authors listed have the right to be acknowledged for their authorship in the manuscript.

Ensure that all authors have seen and approved the final form of the manuscript and have approved its submission for publication.

7. Hazard Risks and Human or Animal Subjects

State clearly in the text, if there are chemicals, procedures, or equipment that has a risk of danger in their use.

State clearly in the manuscript, if it must comply with the code of ethics for research related to human and/or animal subjects.

8. Disclosure and Conflict of Interest

Disclose any financial or other substantive conflict of interest that may be construed as influencing the results or interpretation of the submitted manuscript.

Disclosing all sources of financial research support.

9. Significant Errors in the Manuscript

Notify the editor or publisher and work with the editor to retract or correct the manuscript, when it finds significant errors in the submitted manuscript.
