Archiving Policy

The Jurnal Manajemen Retail Indonesia (JMARI) is committed to maintaining the long-term accessibility, integrity, and availability of all published scholarly articles. This Archiving Policy aims to ensure that the journal's content remains accessible over time and is protected against data loss, system failures, and other technical disruptions. To support these objectives, JMARI implements the following archiving policy:

1. Digital Archiving

All articles published in JMARI are stored in digital format through the journal's Open Journal Systems (OJS) platform, enabling readers, researchers, and the academic community to access published content in accordance with the journal's access policy.

2. Preservation of Scholarly Content

JMARI strives to preserve the integrity and completeness of its published articles, including bibliographic metadata, author information, abstracts, references, and other publication details, to support the long-term preservation of scholarly records.

3. Data Backup

The journal's management seeks to perform regular data backups to minimize the risk of content loss resulting from technical failures, hardware damage, or other circumstances that may affect the availability of digital archives.

4. Long-Term Access

JMARI strives to maintain access to previously published articles, including content from earlier issues, subject to the availability of the journal's systems and archiving infrastructure.

5. Archive Continuity and Recovery

In the event of a disruption to the journal platform or storage system, the journal's management will make reasonable efforts to restore access using available archives and backup copies to preserve the continuity of access to published scholarly content.

6. External Archiving and Repositories

JMARI may use external digital archiving services or repositories that support long-term preservation. Information about the services employed will be disclosed transparently on the journal's website once such services have been implemented.

7. Access to Published Articles

Published articles remain part of JMARI's scholarly archive. Changes to the journal's website do not automatically invalidate the status of previously published articles as scholarly publications. Corrections, retractions, or other changes to publication status will be handled in accordance with the journal's editorial policies and applicable publication ethics standards.

Through this policy, JMARI seeks to ensure that all published scholarly works are preserved, documented, and made accessible on an ongoing basis to support the advancement of knowledge, particularly in retail management and related fields.
