Abstract

In the trajectory of wave synergy, there is an economic challenge that often occurs in the era of globalization, including market disruption. Through initiatives such as providing access to capital, entrepreneurship training, and strengthening marketing networks, MP cooperatives can be more active in building the foundation of a more inclusive and sustainable economy. The purpose of the research was to analyze the role of the Red and White Cooperative in the economic empowerment of local communities using a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data was collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observations, and document studies, then analyzed using thematic analysis techniques. The findings of the study revealed that the Red and White Cooperative has successfully implemented an integrative empowerment model that combines three dimensions of intervention simultaneously: financial services through savings and loans, strengthening managerial capacity through structured training, and continuous technical-operational assistance. This model has been proven to create transformative impacts in the form of increasing individual capacity, strengthening MSME businesses, and forming a resilient economic ecosystem at the community level. Despite facing multidimensional challenges such as digital limitations and legality constraints, cooperatives are able to leverage strong institutions, active community participation, and local potential to create sustainable empowerment synergies. This research contributes a practical perspective on the effectiveness of cooperative-based integrated empowerment models in the context of the people's economy
